2013 Garden Tour
Please mark your calendars to save this important date!!! Saturday, June 8th, 2013 will be our 19th annual American Hydrangea Society Garden Tour from 9 am to 5 pm (rain or shine). We have many beautiful gardens lined up for your touring pleasure in the Buckhead, Toco Hills and Northlake areas on Atlanta. This tour will feature the genus Hydrangea in several different types of settings, from Japanese gardens to cottage gardens both large and small.
The tickets for the tour are $25 which includes a one year membership in the society. Members receive three informative color newsletters mailed to their home. Also, there are three lecture meetings a year with excellent speakers. The meetings are held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at the corner of Northside Drive and Mt Paran. We have wonderful plant raffles at our meetings too. We also offer a family membership for $40 with two tour tickets and includes 3 newsletters mailed to one address.
If you are interested in attending the American Hydrangea Society's 2013 Garden Tour on Saturday, June 8, 2013 you can purchase tickets online or at the April 18th meeting.
Tour tickets will also be sold at our sponsors’ retail outlets: Boxwoods Gifts on East Andrews, Ashe Simpson, Habersham Gardens, Scottsdale Farm Gardens, Wilkerson Mill Gardens, Buck Jones and Hastings Nature & Garden Center. Tour tickets will be available for purchase the day of the tour at the first garden on the tour.
Please note, there are many steps and grade changes throughout all the gardens. Please be advised that this tour is absolutely not handicap accessible. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Garden tour tickets will be mailed in late May to members with current 2013 membership along with the Spring newsletter.
