Winter 2020 Lecture Meeting – horticulturist and author, Erica Glasener, speaker

Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 – at the Atlanta History Center’s Woodruff Auditorium in McElreath Hall

Please join us for an evening with horticulturist and author, Erica Glasener, as she presents "Hydrangeas for Every Garden”. Incorporate a variety of these versatile plants into your garden. For the best effect and a long season of bloom and leaf colors, combine them with perennials, ground covers and other trees and shrubs.

Erica Glasener is a horticulturist, author and nationally known speaker. She has a passion for all things green and has devoted her career (with the goal of) inspiring others to appreciate plants and all the benefits of gardening.  Although she is known for hosting A Gardener’s Diary on HGTV, in recent years she has worked at ‪Gibbs Gardens‬, Historic Oakland Cemetery, ParkPride and as the Senior Producer for Growing A Greener World. Hosted by Joe Lamp’l, this show covers sustainable gardening  and airs on PBS stations across the US. Currently she works at the ‪Piedmont Park‬ Conservancy as the Community Involvement and Events Manager. Erica loves growing hydrangeas, her own garden brings her great pleasure despite the weeds that sometimes defeat her.
