Mark brings a dynamic blend of humor and horticultural insight to his talk on underutilized species and cultivars of Hydrangea, highlighting overlooked selections that deserve a place in today’s landscapes.
Known for his passionate mission to connect plants with people, Mark’s global plant explorations, from China, Taiwan, and Japan to Mexico, New Zealand, and Uruguay, directly inform his efforts to diversify the American garden.
A respected voice in horticulture, Mark contributes to Fine Gardening, Horticulture, and other national publications. He is also the author of "Gardening in the South: The Complete Homeowner’s Guide".
